Meet the Founder

Dr. Crystal Cavalier-Keck

Dr. Crystal Cavalier-Keck is an Indigenous leader, strategist, educator, and advocate with more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of government, nonprofit leadership, environmental justice, community engagement, and public policy.

She is a citizen of the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation and has dedicated her career to advancing Indigenous rights, environmental stewardship, and community-centered solutions.

Her professional experience includes service as:

  • Senior Intelligence Analyst, U.S. Department of Homeland Security

  • Nonprofit Executive Director

  • Community Organizer

Dr. Cavalier-Keck holds degrees in Political Science, Master of Public Administration, Master of Legal Studies in Indigenous Peoples Law, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
